Historique :	D'après Emile Schmit (note manuscrite), le tableau a été donné "il y a une dizaine d'années" et n'a jamais été accroché à l'église. Il devait appartenir au couvent des minimes, aujourd'hui presbytère.

Précision_sur la representation :	D'après la fiche CAOA, le saint moine en extase est saint François de Paule. D'après Emile Schmit, il s'agit de l'apothéose d'un minime ; le personnage est escorté de deux anges, l'un portant l'eucharistie avec un bandeau sur les yeux, représentant la foi, le deuxième figurant l'espérance. Une femme qui recueille des orphelins symbolise la charité.
